Do you Art?
-Art is not dead- might be an oxymoron to some people. But true Art is unresponsive if not defunct for thousands of fantastic unknown artists and millions of would-be Art Lovers worldwide.
What do Art, Artwork, Art Lover, and Artist stand for?
For those who believe that Science and Humanities can coexist, an Artwork piece is a human-created object that elicits a primal, spontaneous, individual, and non-transferable brain-body reaction in both the viewer and the creator.
The reward experienced by the beholder conveys the title of Artwork to the object, and its creator can call herself a Visual Artist. Both the Artist and the Beholder's brains release dopamine in the fronto-orbital cortex and experience pleasure.
Art then is an occurrence. Art in this instance is not a noun anymore. It has been verbed— Art with a capital A.
The movers and shakers of the (a)rt world, their algorithm-driven market-places, elitist art fairs, and up-scale galleries curate for scarcity and have the power to manipulate taste. They profit only if (a)rt is made unavailable to everyone but the top 1% of people.
They are the Gatekeepers of Contemporary (a)rt, and they believe Art should not be for everyone. They primarily promote (a)rt that instead of bringing positive emotions to people, merely disturbs them.
Don't let anyone convince you to like unlikable things.
Artworks that speak to you can reset your mood and improve your life.
Surf the web and buy Art directly from the Artist and hang it on your wall.
